Please read these terms carefully before using WhatTheFridge.
App 360 Factory GmbH (the "Developer") offers users the WhatTheFridge App, a household food inventory tracking and meal planning application.
We want every household to understand pantry stock, expiry dates, and shared grocery needs. WhatTheFridge simplifies inventory capture, reveals patterns, and supports sustainable shopping decisions.
Data security and privacy are core values. See the Privacy Policy at /privacy-policy, which you must accept to use WhatTheFridge without restrictions.
2. General and Scope
2.1 The Developer provides the services of WhatTheFridge exclusively under these Terms of Service.
2.2 If services are delivered together with partner companies, the partners' conditions may also apply.
2.3 Deviating conditions only apply if they match these terms or are confirmed in writing.
3. Services of WhatTheFridge
WhatTheFridge currently offers, among other features:
- Smart inventory capture via text, speech, or barcode
- Expiry tracking with reminders and prioritized lists
- Shared household lists and roles
- Meal planning helpers, grocery suggestions, and budget insights
- Analytics showing usage and food-waste savings
- Customer support via email and social channels
4. Access and Availability
4.1 The Developer may adjust or change services according to section 10.2.
4.2 We strive to provide the app without interruptions but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Temporary restrictions may occur for capacity, security, or maintenance reasons.
5. In-App Purchases
5.1 Core functions are available free of charge.
5.2 Paid "Premium Functions" can be booked. Pricing and payment details are shown before purchase. Pressing a button such as "order with obligation to pay" confirms the contract. Prices may change for new contracts.
5.3 Premium subscriptions renew automatically for the chosen period (max. one year) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
5.4 Contents and requirements of paid services correspond to the description displayed at the time of ordering.
5.5 All prices include applicable VAT.
6. Right of Withdrawal
Instructions on Withdrawal
Consumers have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal for paid services.
The period begins on the day the contract is concluded. Inform us via a clear statement (e.g., email) before the period ends.

Effects of Withdrawal
Once withdrawal is effective, services received by both sides must be returned. You owe compensation for services provided up to withdrawal if you agreed to early performance.
Consent to Early Performance
If you request that we begin providing services before the withdrawal period ends, you agree to compensate us for services rendered should you withdraw later.
Expiry of Withdrawal Right
If a paid service is fully provided before the withdrawal period ends, the right of withdrawal expires provided you gave explicit consent and acknowledged the consequence.
7. Data Protection
We collect and process personal data solely to provide WhatTheFridge. Full functionality requires your consent to data usage. See /privacy-policy for details and revocation rights.
8. Liability
8.1 Claims for damages are excluded except for injury to life, body, health, or intentional/grossly negligent behavior.
8.2 For breaches of essential obligations caused by simple negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damages.
8.3 These limitations also benefit the Developer's legal representatives and agents.
8.4 Users must report damages promptly in writing so mitigation steps can be coordinated.
9. Termination
9.1 The Developer may terminate the business relationship with reasonable notice, considering users' legitimate interests.
9.2 Immediate termination is possible for cause when continuation is unreasonable.
9.3 Users may terminate at any time by deleting their account unless otherwise agreed.
10. Miscellaneous
10.1 Applicable Law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
10.2 Changes to the Terms
The Developer may amend these terms with two months' notice via text or agreed electronic channels. Users may accept or reject the changes. If individual provisions are invalid, statutory rules apply; if this creates unreasonable hardship, the contract may be void overall.
