When you create an account, we may request contact details, household members, and optional product photos that you capture in the app.

Captures & Scans

When using barcode scans or camera captures, we only process information that you actively add. Access can be revoked at any time in your device settings.

• Capture happens exclusively while you add items
• Photos and scan metadata are stored securely with your account
• Data is used for product creation and household synchronization
• We do not sell inventory or scan data to third parties

Log Files

We log technical data such as IP address, device type, operating system, and timestamps. This information is not directly personally identifiable and helps us analyze and improve the app.

Third-Party Privacy Policies

WhatTheFridge’s Privacy Policy does not apply to other providers. Please read their policies before enabling an integration such as Apple Health.

We only exchange the minimum data required with third parties and never receive your passwords.

CCPA Privacy Rights

California consumers have the right to request disclosures, deletions, or opt-outs related to their personal data. If you submit a request we respond within one month.
